The backdrop was fully tailored to his wishes. It covers the layout theme of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It was created for N scale (1/160).

“For building my N scale model railway layout, I absolutely wanted a realistic photo backdrop. The layout theme is Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania at the time of reunification. Since there is also supposed to be a harbour, a bit of the Baltic Sea had to be visible too. Florian built me a photo backdrop using my own photos, which I took on my holiday on the Darß. That way I always have a lovely holiday memory on my model railway. I am really delighted with Florian’s work at a fair price and would like to give him my sincere recommendation!”

The model railway backdrop above was made, once again, for Klemens Wojack from Bremen. A very elaborate and lovingly detailed commissioned piece, and a completely custom-made one. It covers the layout theme of Bremen and a big city in the 1960s. Once again, it also includes numerous cars from my own and Klemens’ collections. I designed it for H0 scale (1/87).

The model railway backdrop above was made for Matthias Wilfroth from Thuringia. Another commissioned piece, and a completely custom-made one. Various buildings were newly photographed and edited for it. The backdrop was fully tailored to the customer’s wishes. It covers the layout theme of Berlin around 1990–1995, the time of reunification. Once again, it also includes numerous buildings, trees and cars from my own collection. It was created for TT scale.

“For model railways with a realistic design, a backdrop is indispensable. Only with a well-matched backdrop made individually for the theme and the layout can it blend in with the layout design. Anyone who takes photos also appreciates a backdrop like the ones Florian Schöbel makes on request at a fair price. So from me, also in comparison with other providers, a clear recommendation.”

The model railway backdrop above is a commissioned piece for Klemens Wojack, a model railway enthusiast from Bremen. The design is based on my backdrop, but has been expanded with many Bremen details and other customer requests. The backdrop is optimised for half-relief buildings. It therefore includes several bare walls, in front of which half-relief buildings were placed. I laid out this backdrop for H0 scale.

“I have already had several backdrops made by Florian Schöbel and am extremely satisfied with the professional implementation of my wishes.
New ideas on my part are also implemented imaginatively and individually each time, and my own pictures and ideas are incorporated.
No request is too much and is met with enthusiasm.
It is certainly very helpful that Florian is a model railway enthusiast himself and therefore, with his attention to detail and additional ideas and suggestions, achieves excellent solutions.”
